What Is Boomerang Bricks?

Boomerang Bricks is a UK online LEGO® rental service. By subscribing to one of our plans, you can browse our massive LEGO® catalogue and pick which LEGO® sets you would like to borrow.

How Do I Subscribe?

You can find our subscription options on our Plans and Pricing page. From as little as £15 a month, you can start renting LEGO®. We have three plans available: LEGO® Fan, LEGO® Pro and LEGO® Legend.

Do I Have to Pay Shipping?

Nope! Shipping and returns are free, you don't have to pay any extra costs on top of your subscription.

Can I Collect My LEGO® Rentals?

If you live locally to Halstead, Essex and would like to pick up your LEGO®, you can save £5 on your subscription. Simply use coupon code IAMLOCAL when you checkout. Then, once you have chosen which LEGO® sets you would like to borrow, we will contact you to discuss an available time to pick up your LEGO®.

What Is the Subscription Portal?

The Subscription Portal is where you can manage your subscription without our interference. Here, you have the freedom to edit your profile, delivery address, bank details and much more.

How Do I Upgrade My Subscription?

You can upgrade your subscription yourself using the Subscription Portal. If you have any problems upgrading please don’t hesitate to contact us

How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

To cancel your subscription, please contact us. You can request to cancel your subscription at any time but subscriptions will not be cancelled until all LEGO® rentals have been returned to us. Once we have received the LEGO® rentals back, we will cancel your subscription.

How Long Can I Rent LEGO® For?

As long as you are paying your subscription, you can keep your chosen LEGO® sets for as long as you like! However, you are able to send back your LEGO® rentals and pick different LEGO® sets to borrow once a month.

How Do I Rent LEGO® Sets?

To start renting LEGO® you will need to sign in to your Boomerang Bricks website account. As your website account is automatically generated when you subscribe, your login details are the same as your Subscription Portal login details.

Once you are logged into our website, you can see which LEGO® sets are available to rent. Simply add your chosen LEGO® sets to your Cart and checkout like you usually would when shopping online.

Can I Purchase Gift Certificates?

Yes, you can purchase gift certificates. Gift certificates are the perfect gifts for friends and family who love LEGO®!

How Are Gift Certificates Redeemed?

Gift certificates come in the form of a promo code and the promo code can be used at checkout to pay for your monthly LEGO® rental subscription. Simply enter the gift certificate promo code into the box "Have a promo code?" and click Add Code.

I Can’t Find What I’m Looking For. Can I Make a Request?

We would love to know what LEGO® sets you are interested in renting so please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@boomerangbricks.co.uk.

Although we can’t guarantee we will be able to stock the LEGO® set you asked for, our catalogue is growing all the time. We try our best to offer a range of LEGO® sets that appeal to as many subscribers as possible, so if there is high demand for it we will try and include it.

How Do I Return My LEGO® Rentals?

Every LEGO® rental comes with a returns label and return instructions inside the box. To make things even easier for you, we ask that you re-use the box and the mailing bag we sent the LEGO® to you in.

If the box doesn’t contain the return instructions, or if you have already sealed the box and forgotten what to do next, here are the return instructions:

  • Carefully break down your LEGO® sets and put them in the correct bags with their instructions (check to make sure you haven't missed any pieces)
  • Place the bags back in the box with your boomerang card (don't forget to take your return postage label out of the box)
  • Put the box back into the mailing bag your LEGO® arrived in and peel off the sticky strip to seal it
  • Remove the original address label and place your return label on the package and either drop it off at your local Post Office, Royal Mail Customer Service Point or go to https://send.royalmail.com/collect/youritems to arrange a collection
  • Once we have received your sets back and checked them over we will email to let you know when you can pick your next set of LEGO® to enjoy!

What Happens if I Send My LEGO® Rental Back Early?

As you can only rent LEGO® once a month, you will have to wait till your next billing date before you can rent any other LEGO® sets.

How Does the LEGO® Legend Plan Work?

The LEGO® Legend plan gives you the option to either rent 3 standard LEGO® sets or 1 LEGO® Legend set. LEGO® Legend sets are high-value sets and are only accessible to LEGO® Legend subscribers to borrow.

What Happens if I Try to Rent Standard LEGO® Sets and Legend LEGO® Sets at the Same Time?

As you are not permitted to borrow Standard LEGO® sets and Legend LEGO® sets at the same time, your LEGO® rental request will be refused. We will contact you with this explanation and ask you to choose either 3 standard LEGO® sets or 1 Legend LEGO® set before continuing with your LEGO® rental.

My LEGO® Rental Has Arrived but There Are Pieces Missing. What Do I Do?

LEGO® sets are checked for all their pieces when they are returned to us and we can only apologise if we have miscalculated the number of pieces when sending them out to you. Included in every LEGO® rental box is a form for you to write down the missing pieces. Alternatively, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What Happens if I Lose or Damage Pieces?

Accidents happen! We understand how easy it is to lose small pieces and how brittle certain LEGO® bricks can be. If you lose or damage a few pieces please use the form included in your LEGO® rental box to let us know. Alternatively, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

However, if you happen to lose, damage or fail to return a significant number of pieces, rare parts or Minifigures, we will charge you an additional admin fee to cover the costs. Losses and damages will be handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure that each LEGO® rental receives the appropriate level of cover.

Is Boomerang Bricks Available Worldwide?

Boomerang Bricks is only available for UK customers. We would love to ship worldwide but unfortunately international shipping costs are too high to make it possible for us. 

Is It Genuine LEGO®?

Yes, it certainly is genuine LEGO®! We do not use construction bricks from any other toy manufacturer. In fact, every stud on a LEGO® brick has the LEGO® logo.
